Lazarus and Windows CE
« on: December 15, 2009, 08:20:30 pm »
Greetings From a Newbie!

I have a Psion NetBook Pro which runs  Windows CE 4.2 .Net.

I have Delphi on my other computer, but since it wont compile apps for winCE, I have downloaded  Lazarus, the latest version.

I have had success writing/compiling/running a test under Vista on this laptop.

Now love to be able to write under Lazarus on here and compile for WinCE.

Do I need any thing more downloaded/installed on my laptop or for that matter, my other computer?

NB - My Psion runs an ARM CPU (Intel ARM-PXA255) running @ 400MHz

Any Help Would be Much appreciated, I’m getting on in years and find it all a bit confusing!

Regards

John

Hello JohnB, if you install from sourceforge fpc for cross-arm-wince-win you have all you need to compile WinCe app. Only you need config your project to compile for wince.  :)

Welcome. The install process is explained in the wiki:

http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/Windows_CE_Interface#Using_the_stable_add-on_installer

And after you get it working this page may also be useful:
