Lazarus and Delphi compatibility

I have a D7 application.  Will Lazarus let me open it and compile an executable binary?  How much work is it to port from D7->Lazarus.  Also, I have a similar Kylix project.  Can I do the same?

It depends:

1) How many winapi calls do you do in D7 app?
2) What third party components do you use? Are these available for lazarus (probably not as this time)?
