A couple questions
« on: July 13, 2008, 04:45:12 am »
I haven't found anything relating to what I want to ask in search, so here it goes.

1 - Is it possible to disable project creation for single files I open in Lazarus? Sometimes I edit single Pascal documents and Lazarus automatically creates a project. It gets annoying really. If not, an option for this would be useful for the next release.

2 - Lazarus tends to complain about when I open an associated file for it via Windows Explorer. It's a bother to have to open Lazarus first, then open the file in it. Is there a workaround for it?

Thanks

1. No, a project is necessary to hold the session information. It won't be implemented for the next release.

2. What complaint?

Unable to read project info file
<whatever the file path is>

After I click OK, an empty source editor window pops up. I mean, literally, empty.
