Hiya,

just to let u all know if u delete a treeview component off ur form then lazarus crashes with an unhandled exception error - it exits unceremonously and u lose any unsaved data.

You have been warned!

I get access violations when closing any form that has a treeview on it.
*&@#(@# This project still has a long way to go before it is perfectly usable.

I am sorry to notice, you have such a bad experience with lazarus.

You didn't mention your system specifics, so I tried on windows with fpc 1.0.

I tried the following on lazarus-win32 with fpc 1.0.10.
Craete a new project, application type.
Add a Treeview on a Form.
Delete it.

Lazarus continues to be.

Then I readded the treeview and closed the From.

Again no access violation.

Can you help to reproduce your errors? Then I can try to fix them.

Vincent.

I use SuSE 9 with the latest Lazarus CVS updates and the released version of FPC 1.9.1. There is no problem of this kind with treeview components here.
