Spread Lazarus

Hello guys, I wanted to ask you all an opinion. I use Lazarus with success and satisfaction for my projects, and I see the enormous potential of this development environment, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises, to reduce production costs and time on the machines. Only in Italy (my country) is rarely used and would like your advice on how to publicize it, about how to increase the use of Lazarus. Tips? suggestions?

Simply use it (read: make sure your colleagues see you using Lazarus produced softwares and they eventually ask "what is it written in?", you know what to do after it ). No need to crazily promote it, let people decide from what they really see (advertisement wins, only when people don't know the truth).

Another very simple promotion is to include the "build with Free Pascal/Lazarus" logo in the About-window of your application.

I've been thinking about writing a magazine article about one of my hardware apps.  Need to finish it first...

tutorials imo their is not much documentation for Lazarus or FreePascal
noobs like me rely more on layman tutorial approach to start our asses in programming
noobs are important on a programming language success since they are the majority of the audience imo

I have contacted some specialized magazines in my country and I'm waiting for answers.

I also would like to be able to create an Italian community. Now I'm trying to see if possible:)

I think we should stick here, and eventually open forums for each language (for lazy people who don't know english ^^)
The community is not so big to have 1 website for each country. And the more we are here, the more we share good stuffs together.

You're right, only that I thought maybe an Italian community was encouraged even those who do not want to read and write in English.
